There are two big determining factors to your site ranking in Google.

This post assumes you already know what an RSS feed is, for infomation on what an RSS feed is visist Wikipedia.

The more backlinks pointing to your site the more important Google feels your site is. RSS feeds provide an easy way for you to get fresh content all over the web every time you write a new post.

RSS directories are a great way to get backlinks to your site.

First create your blog and get a lot of good content up on it before submitting to to any RSS directory. This will assure you a higher approval rate.

Second visit each of the sites below and submit your RSS feed. If you are using a wordpress blog your feed will most likely be located at www.yourdomain.com/feed.

When visitiong these sites you may have to search around for a bit to find the submission link, look for add feed, or submit feed on each site.

Do not add your site to all of these in one day. I suggest adding your site to 10 a day.
